主讲人简介：
韩教授曾是美国圣路易斯华盛顿大学医学院助理教授、副教授，现桑福德-伯纳姆医学研究所教授。曾任美国华人质谱学会主席，为脂质组学研究的先驱者之一，拥有多项国际专利。现任国际期刊Lipids副主编，Anal. Biochem.，Chem. Phys. Lipids，J. Lipid Res.等杂志编委。在Trends Biochem. Sci.，Nat. Rev. Endocrinol.，PNAS，J. Lipid Res.等知名杂志发表论文约200篇，被引用15,000多次，H指数达66。
主要科研方向：(1) extension of the shotgun lipidomics technology for increased penetrance into the low abundance regions of a cellular lipidome; (2) identification of the biochemical mechanisms responsible for the sulfatide depletion and ceramide elevation at the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s disease; and (3) identifying the biochemical mechanisms underlying the altered content and composition of lipids in diabetic myocardium and diabetes-induced dementia.
